In addition to its degree programs, St. John International offers students enrolled at other universities the opportunity to take part in semester, year, or summer programs at the Della Rovere Castle campus in Vinovo (Torino), Italy. General education and upper-level courses are conducted in English and are reinforced with cultural activities such as visits to museums and monuments, as well as culture and language exchanges with local students.

St. John’s mission is to provide study abroad students with a unique and high-quality academic experience in an international setting, while giving them the opportunity to earn credits required by their home institution. In addition, SJIU offers students an authentic Italian experience in a city that is important commercially and culturally, and which has the added distinction of being the last artistic urban center in Italy to remain largely undiscovered.

Living in Torino

No matter where a student is from, the academic experience at St. John International University is enriched by living in Torino – a city alive with art, culture and commerce. Torino, along with the entire Piedmont region, is steeped in Italian tradition, while its location on the peninsula has allowed for a close relationship with the rest of Europe as well.
