SJIU Scholarships

 

St. John International University is committed to helping dedicated and deserving students meet their educational goals through a focused and merit-based scholarship program. We offer competitive scholarships to students applying for full-time undergraduate programs. The number of scholarships awarded each term is determined by the Scholarship Application Committee and can vary.

 

SJIU Scholarship Application Procedure

You must submit the Undergraduate Scholarship application form* and the required documents with your Undergraduate Application. The Scholarship Form must be mailed with the complete application packet. If you have any questions regarding SJIU Scholarships, please contact admissions@sjiu.it

The Scholarship award is subject to a consistent academic performance by the student. The student must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.6 in order to retain their scholarship during the award period. The student must reapply each year and renewal is not guaranteed. The value, number and manner in which scholarships are awarded will be determined on a year-by-year basis by the Board of Directors.

*If for any reason a student is not offered a scholarship, his or her application is still considered valid.

Important note: if you would like to be considered for a scholarship, please submit your application for admission as early as possible.

 

Description of SJIU Undergraduate Scholarships

The Honor Scholarship is designed for students who have graduated with the top grades in their graduating class as demonstrated by an official certificate from the high school/secondary school where they attended. Available to incoming students with the highest attainable grades/marks of their class. Renewable if the student maintains a minimum 3.8 GPA. There are 2 scholarships available. The Honor Scholarship covers 100% of tuition and SJIU housing fees for one academic year.

Environmental Studies Scholarship is an academic scholarship which is awarded to full-time undergraduate students wishing to pursue the field of Environmental Studies at SJIU. The award is granted based on academic merit, an essay and contributions to the field.  There are 3 Environmental Studies Scholarships available. The Environmental Studies Scholarship covers 50% of tuition and SJIU housing fees for one academic year.

Environmental Architecture Scholarship is an academic scholarship which is awarded to full-time undergraduate students wishing to pursue the field of Environmental Architecture at SJIU. The award is granted based on academic merit, an essay and contributions to the field. There are 3 Environmental Architecture Scholarship available. The Environmental Architecture Scholarship covers 50% of tuition and SJIU housing fees for one academic year.

Non-Western Scholarship is a merit based academic scholarship that is designed for full-time undergraduate students coming from Non-Western countries. There are 10 scholarships available. The Non-Western Scholarship covers 50% tuition and SJIU housing fees for one academic year.
