CALL FOR FACULTY POSITIONS 2010 - 2011

St John International University (SJIU) is a private, independent American University in Italy located in the Renaissance Della Rovere Castle in Vinovo-Torino. SJIU offers undergraduate programs in Art History, Business Administration, Environmental Architecture, Environmental Science and Film Studies and graduate programs in Business, Arts Administration and Architecture. Its mission is to educate a new generation of scholars and professionals fully immersed in the opportunities of sustainable development. SJIU offers an academic program that addresses environmental issues with an educational program that increases cultural understanding and awareness.

SJIU announces the following Faculty positions with duties beginning end of August 2010 (fall semester) or January 2011 (Spring Semester):

Contract Faculty Positions for:

  • Architecture
  • Operations Management
  • Financial and Managerial Accounting
  • Banking and Finance
  • Math, Statistics and Calculus
  • Physics
  • Art History
  • English Literature (Nature in Shakespeare)
  • Environmental Anthropology

Minimum requirements for the positions include a Master's Degree with solid teaching and professional experience. Excellence in teaching in English is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.

The successful applicants will need to provide effective academic and managerial leadership.
