CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Any student withdrawing from SJIU must notify the Office of the Vice-President in writing at once. Any financial adjustments are calculated from the date on which the Office of the Vice-President receives this written notification.
The approval of the Vice-President is required for all withdrawals. The student is considered registered, and the student's academic and financial responsibility continues in all courses for which the student has registered until that student is notified by the President's Office that the withdrawal has been approved and accepted.
Students will forfeit their right to a refund if the withdrawal action described above is not adhered to. Stop payment on a check, failure to pay the semester bill, or failure to attend classes does not constitute withdrawal.
No refund will be given for an unofficial withdrawal or for dismissal from SJIU.
An explanation of refunds other fees are explained in the “Fee Description”. Application fees, late fees, and additional expenses are not refundable. In addition, some or all of the tuition will be retained. Based on the week of the term in which withdrawal occurs, the refund percentage is as follows:

Reimbursements do not include any bank fees incurred and are not the responsibility of SJIU.
For the summer sessions, there are NO REFUNDS.
