STUDENT GOVERNMENT

The student body is represented by the Student Government, a university-wide student government association composed of a minimum of three members and a maximum of nine members. It is composed of students elected every year in September.

The organization promotes the common welfare of the students, which it does by sponsoring programs and services and through acting as the voice of the student body.

Each year, the Student Government will elect from within its representative body the following:

• 1. two representatives for the Academic Senate
• 2. two representatives for the Self Evaluation Committee and
• 3. two representatives for the Academic Standards Committee
