For centuries Torino has been a city where classical culture and scientific innovation have gone hand in hand. The movie "Cabiria" gave birth to Italian cinema in Torino and Italian television made its first steps here as well. Today, thanks to the Film Commission, many film sets can be seen throughout the city as well as the Cinema Museum, located in the Mole Antonelliana, designed by the Swiss Architect François Confino. Today Torino is once again becoming one of the capital cities of the "big screen" also thanks to its famous Torino Film Festival in which SJIU students can also take part.
SJIU students will have the possibility to visit the International Food Tasting Salon, organized by Slow Food, where it is possible to buy, taste and familiarize oneself with the typical foods of Piemonte and all of Italy.
