SJIU's objective is to operate and maintain facilities and laboratories that are adequate to serve the needs of its educational programs, support services and mission-related activities. Facilities will be free of traffic hazards and distracting noises.
St. John International University has a main operative office in the State of New Hampshire and its campus in Vinovo-Torino, Italy. The Vinovo Castle Campus is located 10 miles from Torino's city center. Originally built in 1510, the structure is of historical and cultural importance and its complete restoration is underway. Highlights include original frescoes by Pinturicchio and original teracotta reliefs in the courtyard.
Once completely restored, the castle will have over 54,000 sq. ft dedicated to faculty, staff and student use along with a cinema with a capacity of 480 people, sports facilities and a park at its disposition. On the lower level there is a cafeteria, coffee shop, library and large reading room. Administrative and departmental offices are located on the first floor, in addition to two large conference rooms. On the third and Fourth floors there will be 20 classrooms, more library space and two computer laboratories, equipped with large format plotter printers necessary for architecture courses as well as self-service photocopy machines.
The entire castle campus is equipped with free WI-FI for faculty, students and staff. Inside the castle campus grounds there will be an outdoor snack bar. Sports facilities include access to a swimming pool and gym.
All University spaces will be properly maintained and comply with all safety and health standards, codes, ordinances and laws.
