CERTIFICATE IN CULTURAL CONSERVATION AND PRESERVATION

The core goal of the St John International University Certificate in Cultural Conservation and Preservation is to offer our students a thorough introduction to the professional field of cultural heritage preservation. The course of study includes an introduction to the history and philosophy of preservation, an introduction to the hands-on techniques involved, and an introduction to the structure and opportunities of the professional field itself. In the SJIU Certificate Program in Cultural Conservation and Preservation we give our students a clear understanding of the professional field so that each student can really know what to expect and how to be prepared.

This certificate offers students a truly unique way of exploring a career path they might wish to pursue and most importantly it is a way to experience first-hand preservation and conservation techniques in the remarkable contexts of the historic Castello della Rovere of Vinovo and the Castello Reynaudi of Costigliole Saluzzo.
