LEED Sustainable Design Workshop

St. John International University (SJIU) is offering a special workshop on Sustainable Design and the methods of assessing the environmental performance of buildings, with particular emphasis on the LEED rating system. This course will equip students with the knowledge required for LEED GA certification.
LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally-recognized green building certification system. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) in March 2000, LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
The LEED Green Associate credential is intended for those seeking basic knowledge of green design, construction and operations.
